Intercity Transportation

Sinop is a city of repose situated in the central Black Sea region of Turkey. Situated at the confluence of Boztepe Cape and the mainland, Sinop is accessible by both land and air transportation, with the latter offering a convenient maritime link to the Black Sea coast.

In terms of airline transportation, the following options are available: There is one daily flight from Sinop to Istanbul and one daily flight from Istanbul to Sinop, with an approximate travel time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. For journeys to cities other than Istanbul, connecting flights are available via Istanbul.

With regard to road transportation, Sinop is accessible by both personal vehicle and bus. Two direct bus services operate between Sinop and Ankara on a daily basis, with an approximate journey time of seven hours. Additionally, there are frequent bus services between Sinop and Samsun, with departures occurring almost every hour. Furthermore, participants may opt to reach Sinop via transfer from Samsun, should they so desire.

City Transportation

The congress presentations will be held at the Sinop University Ahmet Muhip Dranas Application Hotel. The venue is situated approximately six kilometres from Sinop Airport and can be reached by minibus or taxi.

The distance between the congress venue and Sinop city centre is approximately 10 kilometres, which can be accessed by minibus or taxi.
